Growing Together
in Harmony with Nature

A living community where ancient wisdom meets modern innovation—through Earthships, permaculture, and soul-nourishing food.

Our Regenerative Garden
🌿 Our Living Laboratory

Where Learning Grows from the Soil

Our 7,000 sq ft demonstration site is a thriving ecosystem where we test, refine, and teach regenerative practices that actually work in the tropics.

🌾 Biodynamic & Permaculture Gardens

We practice biodynamic gardening principles combined with permaculture design—creating soil that heals, plants that thrive, and food that nourishes deeply.

🏗️ Tropical Earthship Research

For 40 years they said it couldn't be done. We're proving Earthships can work in humid climates with innovative water-cooled systems and smart design.

Everything you see here, you can learn to build yourself. No expensive kits. No "island tax." Just practical knowledge shared with an open heart.

"For 40 years, they said Earthships couldn't work in humid climates. I'm here to prove them wrong—and teach you how to do it yourself."

🏗️ The Real Question

Why Build an Earthship?

Not because it's "green." Not because it's trendy.
Because it's the most practical path to genuine freedom.

🔓

Escape the Extraction Economy

Beyond the bills you see

Utility bills are just the start. Infrastructure charges, rate hikes you can't control, property taxes funding systems you'll never use. Earthships eliminate an entire category of extraction. No corporation dictates your terms when you're simply not connected.

🛡️

Security You Build Yourself

Not survivalism. Sovereignty.

When grids fail, supply chains break, and prices spike—your home keeps producing power, collecting water, growing food, maintaining comfort. This isn't alternative lifestyle idealism. It's practical security you construct with your own hands.

🔨

One Skill: Swing a Sledgehammer

Error-tolerant by design

Forget specialized tools or years of training. Each tire is self-forming and self-aligning. Mistakes are nearly impossible because the tire constrains what you can do wrong. Complete beginners build solid walls in their first week.

🌴

Finally Working in the Tropics

40 years they said it couldn't be done

We spent decades proving them wrong. Water-cooled thermal mass, smart ventilation, humidity management that actually works. What you'll learn here thrives in Koh Phangan's heat—tested, refined, proven through 20+ years of lived experience.

From Consumer to Producer

Flip the equation entirely

Conventional homes extract: monthly bills, maintenance costs, endless replacement cycles. Earthships produce: electricity, clean water, food, comfortable temperatures. This isn't reducing consumption—it's becoming the source of everything you need.

♻️

Built from "Garbage," Lasting Centuries

800+ tires. Thousands of bottles. Zero waste.

Materials everyone throws away become structures engineered to outlast conventional homes by generations. Earthquake-resistant, fireproof, termite-proof. The world's waste transformed into your family's shelter for the next hundred years.

"For 40 years, they said Earthships couldn't work in humid climates.
I'm here to prove them wrong—and teach you how to do it yourself."

Earthship Biotecture

Radical self-sufficiency through natural building. Off-grid homes made from recycled materials that provide water, power, and thermal comfort.

Dive deeper

🌍 What is Earthship Biotecture?

Developed by architect Michael Reynolds in the 1970s in Taos, New Mexico, Earthships are radically sustainable homes designed to operate entirely off-grid. They're built using natural and recycled materials—earth-packed tires form thermal mass walls, while glass bottles and aluminum cans create beautiful interior walls.

The genius lies in the integrated systems: passive solar heating and cooling maintains comfortable temperatures year-round without HVAC, rainwater is harvested and filtered through botanical cells for drinking, greywater feeds indoor food-producing gardens, and solar panels generate all needed electricity.

🔑 Core Principles

☀️ Passive Solar 💧 Water Harvesting 🌡️ Thermal Mass ♻️ Recycled Materials 🥬 Food Production ⚡ Solar & Wind Power 🚿 Greywater Treatment
🌴 Why Koh Phangan?

Thailand's tropical climate is ideal for Earthship principles—abundant rainfall for catchment, intense sun for passive heating of water and solar power, and the ability to grow food year-round in the integrated greenhouse planters.

🛠️ What You'll Learn
  • Tire pounding & wall construction
  • Bottle brick & can wall aesthetics
  • Rainwater harvesting systems
  • Greywater botanical cells
  • Off-grid solar design basics
🌱

Permaculture Design

Work with nature, not against it. Design systems that regenerate soil, conserve water, and produce abundance without depleting resources.

Dive deeper

🌿 What is Permaculture?

Coined by Bill Mollison and David Holmgren in 1970s Australia, "permaculture" combines "permanent" and "agriculture" (later expanded to "permanent culture"). It's a design philosophy for creating sustainable human settlements by mimicking patterns found in natural ecosystems.

Rather than fighting nature with monocultures and chemical inputs, permaculture creates polyculture food forests, uses swales and ponds to harvest rainwater into the landscape, builds soil through composting and mulching, and designs systems where the output of one element becomes the input of another—just like nature does.

🔑 Design Principles

👁️ Observe & Interact ⚡ Catch & Store Energy 🍎 Obtain a Yield 🔄 No Waste 🌳 Use Renewable Resources 🧩 Integrate, Don't Segregate 🐌 Small & Slow Solutions 🌈 Value Diversity
🏝️ Tropical Permaculture

Koh Phangan's climate allows for incredible abundance—we grow papaya, banana, moringa, coconut, turmeric, ginger, and dozens of tropical fruits and vegetables using food forest design and natural farming methods.

🛠️ What You'll Learn
  • Site analysis & zone mapping
  • Water harvesting earthworks
  • Food forest guild design
  • Composting & soil building
  • Seed saving & propagation
🌿

Biodynamic Gardening

Ancient agricultural wisdom meets holistic ecology. Treat your garden as a living organism—honoring cosmic rhythms and soil vitality.

Dive deeper

🌙 What is Biodynamics?

Biodynamic agriculture was developed by Rudolf Steiner in 1924, predating the modern organic movement. It views the farm or garden as a single, self-sustaining organism—a living entity influenced by cosmic rhythms, soil health, and the interplay of plants, animals, and humans.

Practitioners follow a planting calendar based on lunar and planetary cycles, use special preparations made from herbs, minerals, and animal manures to enliven compost and soil, and aim for a closed-loop system where the farm produces everything it needs. The results? Exceptionally vital, flavorful produce and deeply regenerated soils.

🔑 Core Practices

🌕 Lunar Planting Calendar 🧪 BD Preparations 500-508 🐄 Farm Organism 🌾 Cover Cropping 🦋 Biodiversity ✨ Cosmic Influences 💚 Soil as Living System
🔬 Science & Spirit

While some aspects seem mystical, research shows biodynamic farms have superior soil biology, higher biodiversity, and produce with greater nutrient density. It's where ancient wisdom and ecological science converge.

🛠️ What You'll Learn
  • Reading the biodynamic calendar
  • Making BD preparations
  • Stirring & spraying techniques
  • Compost pile management
  • Observing plant vitality
